THE LINEUP
Under the direction of Head Coach Gerrod Chadwell, the Cougars will compete with seniors Tatiana Pineda, Yuka Kajiki and Leonie Harm, junior Amanda Elich and freshman Hannah Screen.
Harm enjoyed a record-setting season with the Cougars in 2017-18. The Gerlingen, Germany, native earned WGCA All-America Honorable Mention and American Athletic Conference Player of the Year honors after posting a 72.84 scoring average with 17 rounds of par or better.
She fired a 64 in the Final Round at the NCAA Austin Regional to set a school record and qualified for a playoff from which she advanced to compete at the NCAA Championships for the second time in her career.
During the summer, Harm captured the Ladies British Amateur Championship title in late June and earned a place in the Ricoh Women's British Open in early August, becoming the first Cougar to compete in a major championship.
Kajiki was a two-time All-American Athletic Conference student-athlete in 2015 and 2016. The Hiroshima, Japan, native sat out 2017 as a redshirt and played sparingly a year ago.
Elich is a two-time member of the American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team, while Pineda is one of four three-year letterwinners on the 2018-19 team. Screen will make her collegiate debut this weekend after an award-winning junior career in her native England.
