Houston to Host End of Season Happy Hour

Track & Field program to celebrate successes with Cougar fans
HOUSTON – The Houston Cougar Track & Field program is excited to host an end of season Happy Hour event to celebrate the outstanding success of both the Men's and Women's programs and their most recent American Athletic Conference Championships.
The event is open to the public and will be held Monday, June 11, at BBs Café from 6-8 p.m. The address for BBs Café is 6154 Westheimer Rd., Houston, TX 77057.
The program has had a remarkable season and would love the opportunity to celebrate its accomplishments with fans. Guests in attendance will also be treated to Head Coach Leroy Burrell and Assistant Coach Carl Lewis addressing the crowd and joining in the celebration.
The Houston men most recently wrapped up their third-consecutive American Athletic Conference Outdoor championship and their 11th outdoor title in program history. The women's team is celebrating its first American Outdoor championship since joining the conference and the first as a program since 2006.
Following The American Championships, Houston moved on to the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds, where the men and women combined to qualify 11 individual athletes for 13 events, plus two relays, for the NCAA Championships. The Cougars will run in the championship meet June 6-9.
