Hughey to Speak at Head Coach Training Center

HOUSTON â€" Houston Cougar Women's Basketball Head Coach Ronald Hughey has been invited to speak at the 2018 Head Coach Training Center on May 16 in Orlando.
HCTC allows coaches the opportunity to learn from and network with numerous collegiate Head Coaches, Directors of Athletics, Senior Women's Administrators, search firm executives and industry professionals. Head Coaches will share stories of their path to becoming coaches, as well as what they learned during the process and in their role.
Hughey will speak at on the third morning of the three-day event about the process of rebuilding a program on and off the court. Hughey most recently lead the Cougars to an eight-game improvement between the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons and took the Cougars to their first postseason appearance since 2011 with a berth in the WNIT.
The Head Coach Training Center is a three-day event held at the Marriott World Center in Orlando. Cost of attendance is $325 and registration will be limited to the first 75 registrants.
