Houston Football Roster Update

HOUSTON â€" The Houston Football Program announced Saturday senior cornerback Jeremy Winchester has left the program.
Despite the departure, Houston returns five players at the position with playing experience including two with starting experience in 2017. Senior Alexander Myres started 10 games at the position while classmate Isaiah Johnson started five.

Johnson led Houston with seven pass breakups in 2017 while Myres was third on the team with six. Johnson also had two interceptions on the year and is Houston's fourth-leading returning tackler with 45 stops on the year. Myres added 42 stops, including 2.5 for loss, while picking off one pass and recovering a fumble.
Also at cornerback, senior Joeal Williams has seen action in 24 games while junior Ka'Darian Smith has played in 15. Sophomore Javian Smith returns to the field this season after sitting out 2017 with an injury following a freshman season that saw the Richmond, Texas native play in 11 games.

2018 Houston Football Season Ticket Renewals
Season ticket renewals were sent to 2017 season ticket holders on Feb. 1 with a May 1 renewal deadline.
