HOUSTON -- Houston Baseball returns to Schroeder Park for a three-game American Athletic Conference series this weekend when it welcomes league newcomer No. 24 Wichita State to campus. The series is slated to begin at 6:30 p.m. Friday, continue at 6:30 p.m. Saturday and wrap at 1 p.m. Sunday.

- Reserved and bleacher seats are off limits.
- Dogs must be a non-aggressive breed, good in crowds of dogs and people, not in heat, in good health and current on all vaccinations.
- Dog must be under 70 pounds.
- Dogs must be on a leash at all times.
- Children with dogs must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older at all times.
- Owners must promptly bag and dispose of any waste created by their dog.

- Houston enters the weekend series at 22-15 overall and remains atop the league standings at 7-5.
- The Cougars are coming off a 2-2 midweek split with Sam Houston State to open the Don Sanders Cup with double midweek action. Houston won Game 1, 9-4, at Schroeder Park on Tuesday before falling 8-3 on the road in Huntsville.
- As a team, Houston is hitting .253 with 64 doubles, 12 home runs and 158 RBI.
- Leading the way offensively is sophomore Jared Triolo with a .367 average and team-high 55 hits.
- Connor Hollis paces the team in runs scored with 34 and is currently riding a 10-game on base streak.
