Tickets available online beginning at 9 a.m., Tuesday
HOUSTON – University of Houston students have the opportunity to be a part of history for Saturday's Fertitta Center grand opening and are encouraged to go online early to claim their tickets for the event, beginning Tuesday morning.
Current UH students may claim their ticket online beginning at 9 a.m., Tuesday, at uhcougars.com/tickets or by clicking here. Students should log into their student account under the Students tab in the top right corner of the page.
Supplies are limited, and students are encouraged to claim their tickets early to avoid being left out.
Inside the Fertitta Center, UH students will have some of the best seats in the house with approximately 300 courtside seats opposite the team benches and overflow seating in Section 109. Nicknamed The Cage, the UH Student Section was made possible by a generous donation from Judy and Mark Cook.
The Cougars have won their first four games to open the 2018-19 season, winning each of those games by at least 10 points, including a 76-62 victory at BYU on Saturday in their most recent action.
Houston is ranked No. 18 nationally in the first edition of the NCAA NET rankings, which replaced RPI as the primary sorting tool for evaluating teams.
