FRANKLIN, Tenn. -- University of Houston junior Leonie Harm finished with seven birdies on the way to a season-low 67 during the Final Round on Sunday at the Mason Rudolph Championship at Vanderbilt Legends Club.
Starting on No. 10, Harm started her final 18 holes with three straight pars before hitting a hot streak on the 6,335-yard, par-72 layout. The Gerlingen, Germany, native made birdie on the 390-yard, par-4 13th hole and then sank birdies on each of the next four holes to shoot 31 through her first nine holes.
Harm, who was an All-American Athletic Conference selection a year ago, started her back nine with three straight birdies and ran into trouble with two bogeys in a three-hole stretch. However, she quickly regrouped with birdies on two of her final three holes to move into a tie for 13th at 5-under 211.
With her performance, Harm now owns five of the six lowest rounds in Houston Women's Golf history. She recorded a program record-low 66 three times during the 2016-17 season.
As a team, the Cougars posted a score of 1-under 287 to move into 10th place with a three-day total of 871.
Like Harm, senior Megan Thothong posted her third straight round of par or better with a 70 to open the season. She began her Final Round on a slow note, posting bogeys on three of her first five holes. However, the Dallas native regrouped with four straight pars to close out her first nine.
Thothong opened her back nine with three straight birdies and, after four straight pars, closed out her tournament with back-to-back birdies to finish in a tie for 22nd at 3-under 213.
Senior Courtney Tibiletti tied for 57th at 223, while senior Ivon Reijers tied for 59th at 224. Making her first appearance since 2016 after sitting out a year ago as a redshirt, junior Yuka Kajiki tied for 75th at 235.
Arkansas captured the team championship with a score of 823 and finished six strokes ahead of Alabama. Arizona State finished third at 839 with host Vanderbilt (842), Northwestern (847), South Carolina (853), Auburn (857), Virginia (861) and Clemson (867) rounding out the top-nine leaders.
Arkansas' Maria Fassi and Arkansas' Maria Fassi shared medalist honors after each fired 64s during Sunday's Final Round and finished the tournament at 16-under 200. Arkansas' Alana Uriell finished third at 204, while Linnea Strom (Arizona State) and Arkansas teammates Dylan Kim and Abbey Carlson tied for fourth at 206.
