HOUSTON -- Winners of 10 straight games, Houston Baseball will return home to host Incarnate Word in midweek play on Tuesday. First pitch is slated for 6:30 p.m. at Schroeder Park.
The Cougars enter the week with an 18-5 overall record.

- Houston is coming off a perfect 5-0 week that saw the Cougars improve to 18-5 with its 10th straight win.
- The Cougars swept No. 27 UC Irvine on the road to wrap up last week after earning midweek wins at No. 10 Louisiana and vs. Texas Southern.
- The Cougars hit .339 with 63 hits and 33 RBI in the five games last week, led by Connor Wong's .458 clip.
- Corey Julks, Lael Lockhart Jr. and Jared Triolo each had five RBI in the five games and Grayson Padgett scored a team-high six runs.

- John King was almost equally impressive, tossing his third complete game in five starts en route to a series finale win at UC Irvine.
