#HTownTakeover NFL Preseason Week 3 Recap

HOUSTON -- With 13 alums on NFL rosters entering 2016 training camps, the #HTownTakeover is well represented across the league and nine of those players were on the field for the third week of preseason action. Take a look around the league to see how they performed...

Demarcus Ayers of Pittsburgh had one reception for a loss of one yard and returned two punts for four yards in a 27-14 win over the Saints.

Alex Cooper contributed in the trenches in a 26-21 loss to the Jaguars. Cooper, who was part of the 2015 Houston championship team, looks to compete for a spot on the final roster along the Bengals offensive line.

Kenneth Farrow sat out his second straight game with a minor injury as San Diego fell 23-10 to Minnesota. With the Chargers losing No. 3 running back Branden Oliver for the year with a season-ending injury, Farrow will have the chance to make his case for the position. Read more about Farrow here.

Nolan Frese had seven long snaps in Seattle's 27-17 win over the Cowboys.

Oakland's D.J. Hayden had three tackles in the Raiders' 27-14 loss to the Titans. The former first round draft pick enters his fourth NFL season with the Raiders.

Lee Hightower of the Colts tallied five tackles in Indianapolis' 33-23 loss to the Eagles.

Cincinnati's William Jackson III is not expected to see any action in the preseason after suffering a torn pectoral muscle in training camp.

Case Keenum continued his solid preseason going 8-for-12 for 77 yards. Keenum also rushed for four yards in a 17-9 loss to the Broncos.

Derrick Mathews did not play in Green Bay's 21-10 win against San Francisco and unfortunately was cut by the Packers Tuesday afternoon.

Joey Mbu appeared in Atlanta's 17-6 loss to the Dolphins.

Adrian McDonald appeared in the 23-10 Chargers' loss to Minnesota but did not record any stats.

Patriots linebacker Elandon Roberts recorded two tackles in New England's 19-17 win over Carolina.

Sebastian Vollmer was placed on the reserve/physically unable to perform list Tuesday and is expected to miss the 2016 season after being sidelined with a hip injury.
