HOUSTON -- No. 21 Houston Baseball will wrap up its home stand with a 6:30 p.m. midweek matchup against Prairie View A&M on Tuesday at Darryl & Lori Schroeder Park.
he Cougars will play one final home game before hitting the road for the next four games and will enter Tuesday's game with a 6-5 overall record and a 6-2 mark at home.
With a win on Tuesday, the Cougars would notch their 400th career win at home.
Gates open at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
ON DECK
The Cougars will make their first road trip of 2016 when they travel to Tuscaloosa, Ala. this weekend to take on SEC foe Alabama in a three-game series set to begin Friday at 6:30 p.m. CT, continue at 2 pm. CT Saturday and wrap at 1 p.m. CT Sunday.

LAST AT-BAT
Houston will return to action with a 6-5 overall record and has won the last two games, which included a series win over Baylor this weekend.
As a team, Houston is hitting .281 and has belted 14 home runs, including five in the series finale vs. Baylor alone. The Cougars are slugging .459 as an offensive unit and have driven in 65 in 11 games played. Success continues on the base paths with Houston owning a 23-for-27 mark, led by sophomore Zac Taylor's 8-for-9 mark.
Leading the way offensively for Houston is freshman Joe Davis with a .467 average, a team-leading 21 hits and 18 RBI -- which all lead the American Athletic Conference as well.
Sophomore Connor Wong, who was named the Conference Player of the Week, follows with a .364 average and 16 hits and a team-high 13 runs scored.
Sophomore Clay Casey leads the team with four home runs.
On the pitching side, Houston owns a 3.15 ERA and has three saves in 11 games. The Cougars have fanned 105 hitters in 97.0 innings, while walking just 23. Houston's staff has held its opponents to a mere .217 average.
Starter Andrew Lantrip owns a 2.45 ERA and is 1-2 in three starts. He has struck out 19 in 18.1 innings.
Junior Saturday starter John King is 2-1 with a 4.40 ERA and in 14.1 innings, has struck out 17. Sophomore Seth Romero returned to the starting rotation last weekend and was named to the Conference Weekly Honor Roll after tossing 8.0 shutout innings last week, fanning eight and allowing just three hits in outings vs. UTSA and Baylor.
Out of the bullpen, the Cougars have relied on the arm of sophomore Aaron Fletcher, who has one save and a 1.08 ERA in four relief appearances. Freshman Trey Cumbie has shown well in his debut season, recording a 0.00 ERA with six strikeouts in five innings of work.
ABOUT PRAIRIE VIEW A&M
Prairie View A&M will face Houston with a 4-7 overall record and is coming off a SWAC conference series win over Texas Southern this past weekend. The Panthers have face three opponents that the Cougars are scheduled to face this season in Texas Southern (2-1), Texas A&M (0-1) and Lamar (0-1) and are 2-3 against those teams.
PVAMU is hitting .255 as a team with six home runs, 14 doubles and two triples, while driving in 51-combined RBI. Leading the way offensively for the Panthers is Nick Gurka with a .379 average, 11 hits and nine RBI. Angel Avalos follows with a .333 average and a team-high 13 hits.
On the pitching side, PVAMU owns an 8.10 ERA as Darrien Williams paces the Panthers with a 3.68 ERA and a 2-1 record in three appearances. He has fanned 10 in 14.2 innings pitched this season.
SERIES HISTORY
Houston and Prairie View A&M will meet for the 11th time in program history as the Cougars own a 10-0 record all-time against the Panthers. The series dates back to 1987 and Houston is 9-0 vs. PVAMU at home.
The two teams last met May 6, 2014 with Houston earning a 6-0 win over the Panthers at the previously-named Cougar Field.

BUY SEASON/ SINGLE-GAME / GROUP TICKETS
Houston Baseball has 26 remaining home games at Darryl & Lori Schroeder Park this 2016 season and fans can purchase season tickets for as low as $99 online by visiting UHCougars.com/tickets and following the appropriate links or by clicking here.
To purchase tickets in person, fans can visit the Athletics Ticket Stadium Office located on the northeast corner of TDECU Stadium, just outside of Gate 1 off Cullen Boulevard. Parking is available in the TDECU Stadium parking garage with the first 30 minutes free of charge. Regular business hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m., to 5:30 p.m.
Houston Baseball will offer variable pricing on its single-game tickets and group rates.

As noted in the table above, variable pricing occurs. For weekday (Tuesday/Wednesday) games, prices range from $5-$7 depending on the choice of seating.
Weekend ((Thursday) Friday-Sunday) online pricing will range from $6-$8 per game.
GROUP RATES
Group rates are also available (as noted in the table). Weekday (Tuesday/Wednesday) and Weekend ((Thursday) Friday-Sunday) pricing occurs. Groups of 10-24 are set at $4-$5 per person, while groups of 25+ are $3-$4 per person.
All UH main campus students are admitted FREE to regular-season baseball home games with a valid student ID.
