Houston Softball Falls to No. 14 Texas A&M

HOUSTON â€" The University of Houston Softball dropped its first mid-week game of the year as No. 14 Texas A&M defeated UH, 12-0.
The Cougars drop to 6-5 on the season while Texas A&M improved to 12-1.
Senior outfielder Katie St. Pierre led the Cougars with two of the three hits of the night. She has now reached base in 11 straight games dating back to last season. This is the second game this season that St. Pierre has recorded two hits. Freshman Elise LeBeouf knocked another single in her final at bat.
Freshman Presley Bell (2-2) allowed 11 earned runs while striking out three.
NEXT AT BAT
Houston Softball heads to Tempe, Ariz., for the Diamond Devil Invitational hosted by Arizona State this weekend. The Cougars are set to play five games during the three-day tournament, opening on Friday against Mount St. Mary's at noon (CT).
