Houston Adds 2020-21 Non-Conference Series

HOUSTON -- The University of Houston Athletics Department announced Wednesday a future home-and-home series for its football program as Houston will face Georgia Southern in 2020 and 2021.

The Cougars and Georgia Southern will face off in Statesboro, Ga., on Sept. 26, 2020, before a return trip to Houston on Sept. 4, 2021.
With Wednesday's announcement, Houston has one non-conference spot to fill in 2018, two in 2019 and one in 2020 with the 2021 non-conference schedule now completed with games vs. Texas Tech, Vanderbilt, Rice and Georgia Southern.
Houston's 2017 non-conference schedule is also filled with games vs. Arizona, Rice, Texas Tech and UTSA on the docket.
