Junior College Transfer James Works Joins Houston Program

HOUSTON - Houston Football announced Monday the addition of junior college transfer offensive tackle James Works. The 6-5, 295 lbs., Columbia. S.C., native arrives from Iowa Western Community College with two years of eligibility remaining and will count towards the 2016 Houston signing class.
At Iowa Western, Works was named to the 2014 Midwest Football Conference Second Team, helping the Reivers reach the NJCAA National Championship and capture the 2014 Midwest Football Conference title.
Works joins Houston on the first day of classes for the 2015-16 academic year as the Cougars prepare for the 2015 home opener at 7 p.m., Sept. 5, at TDECU Stadium.
