Houston Volleyball Cougar Beach Bash a Success

HOUSTON â€" The University of Houston Volleyball program hosted its first sand volleyball tournament at R.A. Apfell East Beach Park in Galveston, Texas, Saturday.
The Cougar Beach Bash brought 110 teams to the tournament. All entry fees benefitted Houston Volleyball.
"Today's Cougar Beach Bash was a huge success in reaching the Houston Volleyball Community," Head Coach Kaddie Platt said. "Volleyball is a great sport and it is awesome to see all ages participating in Texas' fastes growing women's sport."
Gulf Coast Volleyball Association helped the Cougars put on the successful event.
