SUGAR LAND, Texas - Three University of Houston Women's Golf members will compete as individuals at the HBU Husky Invitational, starting Monday morning at Riverbend Country Club.
Freshmen Maddy Rayner, Tatiana Pineda and Courtney Tibiletti will compete against student-athletes from host Houston Baptist, Incarnate Word, Lamar, Lynn, McLennan Community College, Oklahoma City, Sam Houston State, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Texas Southern, UTPA, Western Texas Community College.
The two-day, 54-hole event tees off with 36 holes Monday morning and continues with the final 18 holes on the 6,084-yard, par-72 layout.
Rayner has competed in four tournaments this season and enjoyed a 16th-place finish in the season-opening The "Mo"Morial, thanks to an even-par 72 in her first collegiate round.
Pineda has appeared in three events during the 2014-15 season. She tied for 24th at the Delta Gamma Challenge to open the spring season and fired a career-low, even-par 71 in the First Round of that event.
Tibiletti joined the Cougars out of Huntsville High and has compete in three tournaments this season.
With only three student-athletes competing as individuals, the Cougars will not be eligible for the team championship.
This marks the second straight season that the Cougars will compete at the HBU Husky Invitational. A year ago, current junior Raegan Bremer was the only player to post a sub-par score in the Final Round with a 70 to earn medalist honors and capture the first individual crown in program history.

Following the HBU Husky Invitational, the Cougars return to action as a team on April 10-12 when they compete at the Dallas Athletic Club/SMU Invitational.
