Individual Session Tickets Available for American Championship

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Individual session tickets for the 2015 American Women's Basketball Championship are on sale now via all Ticketmaster outlets. The tournament will be played at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., Friday-Monday, March 6-9, 2015.
Cougar fans are encouraged to purchase all-session passes through the Houston Athletics Ticket Office. Just a few all-session passes remain for only $99 each. To purchase your all-session pass today and support your Cougars, call (713) GO-COOGS (462-6647).
To order tickets single-game tickets by phone, call Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000. In addition, tickets can be purchased online by logging on to the Mohegan Sun Arena website at www.mohegansun.com or the Ticketmaster website at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets can be purchased through all Ticketmaster outlets.
Tickets can also be purchased at the Mohegan Sun Arena Box Office. Box office hours are 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. daily. All ticket purchases are subject to additional convenience fees.
Session tickets are priced as follows:
First Round (Session 1) - March 6 (4 p.m., 6 p.m., 8 p.m.) - $20.00
Afternoon Quarterfinals (Session 2) - March 7 (Noon, 2 p.m.) - $25.00
Evening Quarterfinals (Session 3) - March 7 (6 p.m., 8 p.m.) - $25.00
Semifinals (Session 4) - March 8 (5:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m.) - $30.00
Championship (Session 5) - March 9 (7 p.m.) - $30.00
The American has also arranged for a bus service to Mohegan Sun Arena for the Championship. The roundtrip price from Manchester, Conn. or New Haven, Conn. is just $30 and tickets can be purchased by calling (800) 388-9218 or by emailing bus2champ@theamerican.org. Pickup and departure times and locations can be found at www.theamerican.org/bus.

The ticket bundle includes two tickets, a special hat for dads and a pink flower for daughters. Also, a photo station will be set up for dads and their daughter to take a special picture overlooking the Hofheinz court.
NATIONAL GIRLS AND WOMEN IN SPORTS DAY |
The Cougars will celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day when they host Memphis on Wednesday, Feb. 11. Houston will also hold their Coogs for the Cure event on that night, raising money for cancer awareness.
The Feb. 11 women's basketball game will be a "Pay as You Wish" event, where Cougar fans can enter the game by making a donation in the amount of their choosing. Fans are encouraged to give generously, as a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Coogs for the Cure program, which is dedicated to the fight against cancer.
All Houston women's student-athletes will be in attendance, and the Cougars will honor their achievements on and off the court throughout the night. In addition, the first 250 fans will receive a Coogs for the Cure t-shirt, and the first 1,000 fans will receive a commemorative pink pom-pom.
