Cougars in the NFL: Week 3

HOUSTON - Several Houston Cougars continue to showcase their talents on respective NFL teams as Week 3 wrapped for the league.
WR Donnie Avery (KC) caught two passes totaling 12 yards in the Chiefs' win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 3. Avery, who now tallies 110 receiving yards for the season, and the Chiefs are scheduled to host the New England Patriots in Week 4.

RB Jackie Battle (TEN) had one rushing attempt equaling five yards in the Titans' Week 3 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Week 4 sees Battle and the Titans visiting the Indianapolis Colts.

LS Thomas Gafford (KC) played in the Chiefs' Week 3 victory over the Miami Dolphins but recorded no stats. Gafford and the Chiefs will play the New England Patriots in Week 2.
