Cougars in the NFL: Week 1

HOUSTON - With the NFL season officially underway, several Houston Cougars saw action on their respective teams during Week 1.
WR Donnie Avery (KC) was targeted 13 times and finished with 84 yards and seven receptions, all team highs, in Kansas City's Week 1 loss to the Tennessee Titans. Avery and the Chiefs are set to visit the Denver Broncos in Week 2.

RB Jackie Battle (TEN) did not record any stats in the Tennessee Titans' Week 1 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. The Titans are scheduled to play the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2.

LS Thomas Gafford (KC) saw game action but recorded no stats in the Chiefs' loss to the Tennessee Titans during Week 1. Gafford and the Chiefs will play Denver in Week 2.

CB D.J. Hayden (OAK) is still listed on the Physically Unable to Perform list for the Raiders. After a loss to the New York Jets in Week 1, Oakland is set for a Week 2 home game against the Houston Texans.

QB Case Keenum (STL) did not play in St. Louis' loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1. The Rams will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 2.

TE Fendi Onobun (JAX) did not play in Jacksonville's season opening loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Jaguars will visit the Washington Redskins in Week 2 action.

T Sebastian Vollmer (NE) started in New England's Week 1 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Vollmer and the Patriots are scheduled to visit the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2.

2014 FOOTBALL MINI PLANS
For those Houston fans who are unable to make it to TDECU Stadium all season, three-game mini plans are available for purchase for $99.
The three-game mini plans give Houston Football the ability to secure tickets for the Oct. 2 game vs. UCF, the 2014 Fiesta Bowl champion, and any other two games this season. The remaining four games for UH fans to pick from consist of 2013 bowl game participants UNLV and Tulane along with Temple and Tulsa. SINGLE GAME TICKET INFORMATION
Single-game ticket sales for the inaugural season in TDECU Stadium start at $36 per person for reserved seats and $25 for general admission at any of Houston's seven home games, including 2014 Fiesta Bowl champion UCF, and can be purchased by calling the Houston Athletics Ticket Office at 713-GO-COOGS (462-6647) or by clicking here.
YOUNG ALUMNI TICKET INFORMATION
University of Houston alumni from the last five years (2010-14) can purchase season tickets for just $125 (upper levels) and $175 (lower level) in specially designated Young Alumni sections with a multiplier of four times donations to Cougar Pride giving levels for the first five years after graduation. Each ticket consists of a $25 Cougar Pride donation with the four times Young Alumni multiplier, resulting in a $100 donation credit and a Cougar Pride parking pass in the TDECU Stadium Garage. GROUP TICKET INFORMATION
Single-game group ticket sales for the inaugural season in TDECU Stadium are now on sale via the Houston Athletics Ticket Office. Groups of at least 10 or more can purchase tickets starting at just $21 per person to any of Houston's seven home games, including 2014 Fiesta Bowl champion UCF, by calling the Houston Athletics Ticket Office at 713-GO-COOGS (462-6647) or by clicking here.
