Cougars win 22-13! Not the prettiest game, but they got the job done. Great effort and great first American win, improve to 2-0 on the year and 1-0 in conference play.

Adrian McDonald makes a leaping interception to give Houston the ball back with 1:30 left in the game. Mcdonald returned it to the Temple end zone.
Ryan Jackson punches it in from eight yards out and the Cougars have found pay dirt!

Greenberry has 10 catches for 144 yards, both career highs for the sophomore and tops among the UH WR.

Cougars red-zone struggles continue but so do the points as Leone kicks in a 19-yard field goal to give UH the lead.

Temple takes their third time out of the half as the Cougars have quickly marched down to their opponents' 19-yard line on six plays over 55 yards. O'Korn looking unfazed in his return to his homestate.

Third-and-2 and the Cougars defense stuffs the run forcing a Temple punt. Payne calls for a fair catch at the 26. O'Korn remains the QB.

O'Korn marches the Cougars down the field on 3-of-4 passing for 34 yards and connects with Daniel Spencer for a 21-yard gain. Unforatuntely Spencer's catch brought the Cougars to the 10-yard line and were unable to pick up a first down and had to settle for a field goal.
