AUSTIN, Texas- The University of Houston track and field team will make its last trip to Austin this season to compete in the Texas Invitational on Saturday at Mike A. Myers Stadium.
This one-day, non-scored meet, will feature six teams from the state of Texas (Houston, Baylor, TCU, Texas State, Texas Tech, and UTSA) and one from California (Cal State Northridge).
Competition will begin at 1 p.m. with the women's shot put and the men's javelin, and conclude with the men's 4x400-meter relay at 8:20 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Cougars headed east for a quick trip to compete in the South Florida Collegiate Invitational on April 5, where they claimed 12 event titles and tallied 20 personal best.
Senior Rick Fenton set new personal records in both the men's hammer throw (58.28m; 191-2) and the men's discus (48.80m; 160-1). The San Clemente, Calif., native took gold in the two events.
The Cougars swept the men's and women's 4x100-meter relay and the men's and women's hurdles. The men's relay team crossed the line at 41.56 seconds, while the women ran a time of 45.29. Sophomore Sade-Mariah Greenidge ran a 13.53 in the 100-meter hurdles and a 1:01.66 in the 400-meter hurdles. On the men's side, freshman Isaac Williams finished at the 14.04 mark in the 110-meter hurdles, while freshman Eric Futch clocked in at 51.77 in the 400-meter hurdles.
