HOUSTON - The University of Houston track and field teams prepare to head to College Station on Saturday for the Texas A&M Invitational. The meet is slated to start at noon with the women's 60m hurdles on the track and the men's long jump in the field.
The Cougars will be in competition with Texas A&M, Alabama, Baylor, Missouri, Rice, TCU, USC, and UTEP at Saturday's contest.
Houston is coming off a solid team performance at the prestigious New Balance Invitational in New York City last weekend. The Cougars broke the top-10 in the school record books in five events on the women's side - 60m hurdles, pole vault, weight throw and long jump, while the men moved into the top-10 in the DMR, 3,000m and shot put.

The Cougars will head to Baton Rouge, La., for the LSU Twilight on Feb. 17.
