HOUSTON - University of Houston senior pitcher Amanda Crabtree earned her second-straight Conference USA Pitcher of the Week honors after four stellar performances during the week Feb. 21-28.

The Kingwood, Texas native was named to the QTI Powers Invitational All-Tournament team after going 3-0 on the weekend with her second no-hitter of the season on Saturday afternoon in an 8-0 five-inning run rule against Louisiana-Monroe. During the QTI Powers Invitational, the senior threw for 18 innings, allowing one run and striking out 28.
Aside from her second no-hitter, Crabtree shined in her fourth complete-game shutout against Baylor in the final game of the invitational. She walked one and struck out seven to hand Baylor (14-1) its first loss of the season.
Crabtree and No. 23 Houston (13-3) will stay on the road for the final tournament of the non-conference season. The Cougars will head to San Diego, Calif., for the Campbell/Cartier Classic hosted by San Diego State, Mar. 3-5.
