Houston, Texas - Conference USA and the University of Houston announced on Monday that tickets for Saturday's C-USA Championship Game are sold out.
UH sold nearly 12,000 tickets within three hours of the team's 48-16 victory at Tulsa to clinch the West Division title. The remaining tickets were sold via the student allotment and 2011 season ticket holders. Season ticket locations not purchased by the current season ticket holder are being used to fill additional seat requests.
Now ranked No. 6 in the Bowl Championship Series standings, Houston enjoyed another banner year attendance-wise at Robertson Stadium. The team sold out its final four home games, including Saturday's Championship Game. The Top 10 crowds in Robertson Stadium History have all come under the watch of Head Coach Kevin Sumlin, including a Robertson Stadium record 32,207 fans for the Senior Day win against SMU.
Fans unable to secure tickets for the Championship Game can watch the contest vs. No. 23 Southern Miss on ABC. Kickoff is slated for 11 a.m. CT.
