Houston Athletics Announces Parking Changes for Rice Game

HOUSTON - The University of Houston Parking and Transportation Services and the Athletics Department have announced the Game Day parking plan for this year's Bayou Bucket football game against Rice at 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 27.
Due to the rivalry game being played on a Thursday, fans are encouraged to take note of the parking policies prior to the contest.
Fans with parking permits will be allowed to enter their respective lots at 3 p.m., while cash parking will also begin at 3 p.m. in designated lots.
The following lots will close at 2 p.m., so parking spaces may open for fans who wish to arrive early and enjoy pregame festivities: 11A, 12A, 15B, 15C, 15D, 15F, 16B, 16C, 16D, 16E, and 16F.
From 2-3 p.m., no vehicles will be allowed to enter these lots. Beginning at 3 p.m., fans with a valid Houston Athletics Game Day parking permit will be allowed to enter. Vehicles that are parked in these lots prior to 2 p.m., will need to exit by 5:30 p.m. Any vehicles in these lots after 5:30 p.m. are subject to relocation.
Prior to 3 p.m., any vehicles without a UH student or faculty/staff parking permit are subject to citation.
