Whitney Harris Named to USTFCCCA All-Academic Team

HOUSTON - Whitney Harris was honored as an Academic All-American by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2009-2010 season.
In order to be named to the All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must maintain a GPA over 3.25 while also meeting the NCAA provisional or automatic qualifying standard in an event. The sophomore sprinter earned All-Acaedmic distinction by virtue of the 4x100-meter women's relay team that took fifth place at the NCAA Track and Field Championships.
In addition to being named to the All-Academic team, Harris was an All-American for the 2009-2010 season.
