New Balance Invitational Results
HOUSTON - The University of Houston track and field team set 18 personal records at the New Balance Invitational in New York and the UH All-Comers Meet at the Yeoman Fieldhouse Friday and Saturday.

Kalyn Floyd broke the school record in the 400m dash when she clocked 53.40 in the prelims. After earning a provisional mark, she went on to finish ninth in the championship event with a time of 55.58.
The men's 4x400m relay team, consisting of Doug Kelley, Joseph Irabor, D'Korian Ford and Jason Perez, continued its successful season with a second-place finish, clocking 3:16.36.
For the second consecutive meet, Irabor set a personal record of 22.07 in the men's college 200m dash, notching a second-place finish. Tyron Carrier set a new personal record of 21.33, finishing fifth in the men's championship 200m.
Lamar Delaney set a personal record in the men's college long jump with a leap of 7.49m (24-07.00) to finish in second place.
For the third time this season, Christie Jones set a provisional mark in the women's 60m dash, finishing in third place with a season-best time of 7.42. Her mark goes into the record books as the fourth-best time in program history.
Errol Nolan set a personal record in the men's 400m dash with a time of 46.79, notching a third-place finish. His mark made its way into the Houston record books as the third fastest time in school history.
The women's distance medley relay team, consisting of Kathryn Ducommun, Clarissa Payton, Ciera Johnson and Stephanie Aldea, ran the third-best time in program history with a mark of 11:54.39 - good for third place.
Kiera Pulliam made her way into Houston's all-time top-five performances in the shot put with a season-best toss of 14.47m (47-05.75) - good for fifth place.
Chris Carter and Delaney set provisional marks in the men's triple jump with a mark of 15.78m (51-09.25) and 15.44m (50-08.00), respectively.

UH All-Comers Meet
Bryan Brown led the Cougars in the men's pole vault, notching a valiant first-place finish with a personal best of 4.90m (16-00.75). Wesley Bray tied for second place, clearing the bar at 4.75m (15-07.00). With the same mark, Derek Schutz finished in fifth place.
Laura Allred set a new personal record in the high jump when she cleared 1.70m (5-7.00) to take second place in the event. On the men's side, Selleck Keene and Miles Beal-Ampah tied for fourth place with a height of 1.94m (6-04.25).
Mike Sanchez led the Cougars in the men's shot put with a personal best of 16.00m (52-06.00) - good for second place. Sidney Flores also set a personal record with a toss of 15.25m (50-00.50) to finish in fourth place. John Fortune followed in sixth place with a throw of 15.14m (49-08.25).
Karley King recorded a personal-best of 3.50m (11-05.75) in the women's pole vault to tie for third place.
Rick Fenton earned fourth place in the weight throw with a toss of 16.03m (52-7.25), the fifth-best mark in program history. The other Houston throwers, Flores and Fortune, set season-best marks in the event with throws of 15.00m (49-02.50) and 12.59m (41-3.75).
Megan Munoz clocked a personal best of 10:25.15 in the women's 3,000m race, finishing in sixth place.
Up Next for the Cougars
Houston travels to College Station for the Texas A&M Challenge on Feb. 11-12. The Cougars then return home to host the Conference USA Indoor Championships on Feb. 26-27.
