Cougars in the NFL - Week 4

Former Cougars play major roles in the National Football League this past weekend.
Sebastian Vollmer, RT, New England Patriots (3-1) - played and started at right tackle. He and the offensive line created the way for 119 total rushing yards with a touchdown, and protected Tom Brady, who threw for 153 yards and a touchdown. The Patriots defeated division-rival Miami Dolphins, 41-14.

Stanford Routt, CB, Oakland Raiders (1-3) - played and started at cornerback. He tallied three tackles (two solo and one assisted). The Raiders lost to the, best team in the NFL, Houston Texans, 31-24.

Kevin Kolb, QB, Philadelphia Eagles (2-2) - came off the bench after a starting quarterback Michael Vick suffered an injury. In three quarters of work, Kolb threw for 201 yards on 22 completions, with one touchdown. The Eagles fell short to their division rivals, the Washington Redskins, 17-12.

Fendi Onobun, TE, St. Louis Rams (2-2) - was active but did not see the field. The Rams win second in-a-row after defeating the Seattle Seahawks, 20-3.

Rex Hadnot, C/G, Arizona Cardinals (2-2) - was active but did not see the field in the Cardinals loss, 41-10, to the San Diego Chargers.
