Scott also has been recognized for her talents on the field. She was named to the C-USA All-Academic First Team as a senior and is leaving Houston as the program's leader in wins, shutouts and saves. The Dallas native was also named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District VI First Team for two years in a row.
As a junior she started all 18 games as goalkeeper and was named C-USA Defensive Player of the Week. She ended her career at UH with 304 saves, breaking the school record, and played in 54 games. Scott spent her spare time volunteering for Big Brothers and Big Sisters and maintained a 3.92 GPA while attending UH's Honors College.
