UH went into the third set needing a win to extend the match but they would come up short 25-19.
Houston will return home next weekend for their final two matches of the home schedule. UH will host a 7 p.m. match against Marshall on Oct. 30 and cap the home slate with Senior Night on Oct. 31 against East Carolina at 7 p.m.
