Three UH players have enjoyed outstanding success on their home court, with sophomore forward Courtney Taylor, who averages a double-double for the season, leading the way with 14.6 points per game at home. Sophomore guard Brittney Scott, who leads the Cougars with a 15.4 point per game average in C-USA play, averaging 14.1 points at home while freshman Roxana Button chips in with 12.3 points per home contest.
Head coach Joe Curl, who earned his 300th career coaching win earlier this season, is closing in on another milestone as he sits just seven wins away from former UH head coach Dot Woodfin for the program's mark in all-time coaching wins. Woodfin notched 175 wins on the Cougar sideline from 1976-85.
UCF enters Sunday's contest with a 6-12 overall record, but turned into one of C-USA top teams once league play began when it surged to the top of the conference standings with a 4-1 C-USA mark.
