Second on the team with 13 stolen bases... Joined pitcher Wes Musick on the C-USA All-Freshmen Team... Started his first collegiate game in center field against Stephen F. Austin during the season opener... Went 1-for-3 with a run against the Lumberjacks... Batted 2-for-5 with two runs and four RBIs against Sam Houston State... Lined a pinch-hit, RBI-single up the middle in the bottom of the eighth during the middle game of the NSU series... Batted 2-for-4 with a pair of runs against Lamar... Went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI during the Princeton series opener... Batted 3-for-3 with two runs, a homer and five RBIs in the middle game of the Princeton series... Senior (2006): Taken in the 31st round by the New York Yankees in the amateur draft... Batted .390 with eight doubles, six triples and a team-best 20 stolen bases... Helped lead team to the Regional Semifinals with a 27-12 record... Knocked in the game-tying run against Flower Mound High in Game Three of the 5A Regional I quarterfinal series... Voted Defensive Player of the Year by his teammates and received the Hustle Award and Character Award... Was named to the District 5-5A First Team as an outfielder... Named to the Texas High School Coaches Association All-State Team... Named to the THSCA All-Star Game... Earned a place on the Fort Worth Star-Telegram "Super Team"... Was a Dallas Morning News All-North Texas selection... Named a Dallas Morning News Player of the Week for May 22...
