Houston Texan Rookie To Sign Autographs at Shrine Game

HOUSTON, Texas - Houston Texans wide receiver Jacoby Jones is scheduled to sign autographs and pose for pictures from 5-6 pm prior to the East-West Shrine Game scheduled for a 6 pm kickoff on Saturday, January 19, at John O'Quinn Field at Robertson Stadium. Jones will meet fans on the west side of the stadium in the tailgate pavilion area off of Scott Street.
Last season Jones starred in the East-West Shrine Game and parlayed his postseason performance into a 3rd-round selection by the Texans in 2007. This past season Jones finished with 15 catches for 149 yards, returned 30 punts for 286 yards and a 9.5 average and brought back four kickoffs for a 19.5 average.
A native of New Orleans, La., Jones starred for four seasons at Lane College, where he was a Division II All-America First-Team selection as a senior in 2006.
The 83rd annual East-West Shrine Game will take place on the UH campus for the first time, after spending last season at Reliant Stadium. Tickets can be purchased by logging online at www.UHCougars.com or calling 713 GO COOGS.
