Cougar Softball to Appear on FOX 26 Tuesday Morning

HOUSTON - Head coach Kyla Holas along with Elaina Nordstrom and Jessica Valis will appear on the FOX 26 Morning News Tuesday to promote the program's upcoming "Breast Cancer Awareness" doubleheader against No. 4 Texas A&M. The segment will air at 6:45am
The Cougars will be trading in their traditional white home uniforms for pink jerseys. Throwing out the ceremonial first pitch will be Veronica Nordstrom, who is a breast cancer survivor and mother of Cougar starting catcher Elaina Nordstrom.
A silent auction will be held during the doubleheader, with all of the proceeds to benefit the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Houston Affiliate. In addition, all of the ticket revenues will also be donated to the Komen Houston Affiliate.
Houston (17-7) has won 10 of its last 11 games. First pitch against the Aggies is slated for 5pm. Tickets for this event can be bought in advance online at UHCougars.com
