HOUSTON - The University of Houston soccer team will celebrate Fan Appreciation Night Friday against UTEP at the Carl Lewis International Track & Field Complex.
The Cougars (4-10-2, 0-6-1 C-USA) and UTEP (10-7-1, 4-3 C-USA) are set to kickoff at 6 p.m. CDT. Admission will be free for all fans.
The game time was moved up an hour to lessen potential conflicts with the Houston Dynamo playoff game at Robertson Stadium starting at 7:30 p.m.
Soccer fans should park in lot 15H, which is located directly north of the Carl Lewis Complex, behind the Athletics/Alumni Center.
The first 100 fans to enter the gates will receive a UH Soccer T-Shirt. There will also be giveaways for a autographed mini-balls and a Sony PSP. Halftime will feature the NCAA College Cup T-Shirt Launch.
Due to the venue change for this weekend, Gametracker and streaming video will not be available.
Sunday's game is slotted for a noon start against Colorado College (9-4-3, 4-2-1 C-USA).
