Baseball to Broadcast Games over the Internet

HOUSTON - University of Houston baseball games can be heard live and free throughout the 2007 season on the Cougars' official web site UHCougars.com.
For the fifth straight season, Nick Torina and Pat Cauley will team up to bring all the action of Cougar Baseball. Few Cougar fans will ever forget their historic call of the championship game at the 2003 NCAA College Station Regional.
The pregame show is slated to begin about 15 minutes before first pitch for the 55 regular-season games and all postseason contests. Fans can access the games by clicking the "Audio Broadcasts" link on the "Schedule and Results" page off the baseball page at UHCougars.com and following the appropriate links.
The Cougars open the 2007 season when they play host to Stephen F. Austin at 2 p.m., Feb. 6 at Cougar Field.
In addition to all Cougar Baseball games, The Rayner Noble Show will air on UHCougars.com for the second straight season. Noble will join Torina on 10 shows throughout the 2007 season from Noon to 12:30 p.m.
For the first time in 2007, fans also will have a chance to be a part of The Rayner Noble Show. Fans with access to Yahoo Instant Messenger can send their questions to Nick and Coach Noble at ntcoog31 with a chance for them to be read over the airwaves.
As of press time, The Rayner Noble Show is slated to air Feb. 5, Feb. 19, March 5, March 20, April 2, April 16, April 30,May 14, May 21 and May 28.
Torina is in his sixth season of the Cougar Baseball broadcast team and third year as the Voice of Cougar Baseball, handling the play-by-play duties. A former letterwinner from 1998-01, he was a part of three teams that advanced to the NCAA Regionals and the 2000 Cougar squad, which set a school record with 48 wins.
In addition, he continues to rank among the Cougars' all-time leaders in appearances and holds.
Cauley is in his fifth season of providing color analysis with the Cougars. A 1995 Houston graduate, Cauley also was a former Cougar letterwinner in 1993-94 and serve as a student assistant coach for head coach Rayner Noble in 1995.
