UH Athletics Schedules Football Fan Appreciation Day

HOUston, Texas - The University of Houston Department of Athletics announced Monday that it will hold a Football Fan Appreciation Day on Saturday, August 26, at 4:30 pm in Athletics/Alumni Center. All Cougar fans are encouraged to attend.
The 2006 Cougar Football team and coaching staff will be in attendance to sign autographs and be available for photos. Free Double Dave's Pizza and refreshments will be provided, as well as interactive games such as 20-yard shuttle, field-goal kicking, Cougar tire toss and a College Football Video Game Experience showcasing NCAA Football 2007 by EA Sports.
Doors open at 4 pm, with games and food available starting at 4:30 pm. At 5 pm the team will enter with the band and cheerleaders. UH Director of Athletics Dave Maggard will speak to the crowd before handing the mic over to Cougar Head Coach Art Briles. The autograph session will be shortly after these introductions.
