Tennis Reschedules Match With Sam Houston State

HOUSTON - Head coach John Severance announced Friday night that the University of Houston tennis team season opener against Sam Houston State has been rescheduled.
The Cougars and Bearkats were orginally slated to open the 2006 season tomorrow but will now square off on February 12th at Hoff Courts. First serve for this rescheduled contest is slated for noon.
The match was postponed due to inclement weather expected in a majority of tomorrow's forecast.
Houston will now begin the 2006 season with a doubleheader against Prairie View A&M and Stephen F. Austin Sunday. First serve is on-tap for 10am and 2pm, respectively. Admission is free to all UH home matches.
