Lady Cougar Basketball travels to the Midwest this weekend

- The Lady Cougars hit the road this weekend to square off with No. 15 DePaul (19-3, 8-1 C-USA) on Friday in Chicago, Ill., and then to Milwaukee Wis. to face Marquette (14-8, 5-4 C-USA) on Sunday.
The Lady Cougars are looking to upset the #15 Blue Demons 20-game home floor winning streak in this C-USA match-up Friday Feb. 11, 2005. The key matchups in the game will be Sancho Lyttle who has 16 double-doubles on the season for the Lady Cougars and DePaul's Junior forward Karah Smith who also has 16 double doubles on the season
Looking to come off the bench for the Lady Cougars is Kadi Creel who has had 29 points in the last two games, including shooting 5-8 from the three point line against St. Louis on Feb. 5, 2005.
The last meeting of these two teams Houston defeated DePaul 84-75 in Houston on Feb. 20, 2004.
Following that contest, the Lady Cougars head to Milwaukee to face the Marquette Golden Eagles on Sunday Feb 13, 2005
Joann Overstreet who leads the Lady Cougars and 10th in the NCAA in assists will square off with Marquette's Carolyn Kieger who leads the Golden Eagles and 8th in the NCAA in assists.
Houston returns to Hofheinz Pavilion for it final home games on February 18, 2005 at 8 pm CST to be televised on Fox Sports South and Fox Sports Southwest and then Charlotte on February 20, 2005 at 2:00 pm. EST.
