Houston To Host Seven Indoor Track and Field Meets

Houston, Texas - Five home meets, the Carl Lewis High School Invitational and the Conference USA Indoor Track and Field Championships highlight the 2005 University of Houston Indoor Track and Field Schedule.
Houston begins its 2005 indoor season on January 15, when the Cougars host the Houston Indoor Opener at the Bill Yeoman Field House.
After the Houston Opener, the Cougars will host the Leonard Hilton Memorial Meet on January 21 and the Carl Lewis High School Invitational on January 22.
The Cougars also host the Houston Invitational on January 27-28 and the Hyatt Regency Invitational on February 5.
After the Hyatt Regency Invitational, Houston will have a partial squad competing at the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark., on February 11-12. The remaining members of the men's and women's teams will be at the UH/RunSport Invitational on February 12.
The Cougars will also travel to the Air Force Open on February 19 before they host the Conference USA Indoor Championships on February 25-26.
Houston also will travel to the Florida Fast Times Invitational on March 5 before closing out its indoor schedule at the NCAA Indoor Championships on March 11-12.
