Cougar Football Set to Host Fan Appreciation Day

The University of Houston Athletic Department today announced that August 17th's intra-squad football scrimmage will be "Fan Appreciation Day" at Robertson Stadium. The scrimmage is slated to begin at 11 am.
All fans are encouraged to attend this free event, and both kids and adults will be able to take part in the Interactive EndZone games and inflatable contests during the game. The first 500 fans will receive the UH-Houston Texans "Fan's Fan," while the first 2,000 in attendance will receive a 2002 UH Football Poster. Plus, free Coca-Cola for all fans.
After the scrimmage UH head coach Dana Dimel will speak to the attending children, focusing on the importance of education and striving to do your best. Following Dimel's speech, the football players will be signing autographs and taking photos with all the fans.
