Golden Knights Plan Return Visit

The University of Houston Athletic Department would like to announce that the United States Army "Golden Knights" Parachute Team will be performing at halftime of "Military Appreciation Night" when the Cougars and Army meet in football on October 19 at John O'Quinn Field at Robertson Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 7 pm.
The Golden Knights performance, presented by Pilgrim Cleaners, will the third visit to Robertson Stadium by the elite aerial demonstration team in the past three years. They previously performed on September 16, 2000, versus Army and November 17 of last season against UAB.
The Golden Knights have performed over 8,200 live demonstrations in all 50 states and 47 foreign countries. "The Army's Goodwill Ambassadors to the World" have produced 129 national and 23 world champion parachutists and 13 world team titles in free-fall formation parachuting.
