Cincinnati Knocks Off Cougars 47-14

CINCINNATI (AP) - Gino Guidugli threw three touchdown passes and ran for one more to lead Cincinnati to a 47-14 victory over Houston on Saturday.
Guidugli was 14-for-23 for 238 yards with one interception for Cincinnati (5-5, 4-2 Conference USA). Tye Keith scored on a 38-yard pass from Guidugli in the third quarter. DeMarco McCleskey added 83 yards for the Bearcats.
Jon Olinger scored on a 6-yard pass from Guidugli in the first quarter, and LaDaris Van added another touchdown on a second 6-yard pass from Guidugli in the second quarter.
Nick Eddy's five-game streak of throwing at least two touchdown passes ended. He was 10-for-23 for 152 yards with three interceptions and no touchdowns for Houston (4-6, 2-5).
Houston led Cincinnati 7-3 early in the first quarter after a 3-yard run by Joffrey Reynolds. Guidugli then scored his first touchdown, running for 10 yards to put Cincinnati ahead 10-7.
Jonathan Ruffin added two field goals from for 33 and 25 yards.
McCleskey carried 16 times and scored on a 1-yard run in the third quarter. Antwan Peek scored Cincinnati's other touchdown on a 21-yard fumble return.
Anthony Evans finished the scoring for Houston with a 1-yard run.
