Truscott Named Conference USA Player of The Week

Houston, Texas - University of Houston junior forward Louis Truscott has been named the Conference USA Player of the Week after averaging 17.3 points and 11.7 rebounds in three games last week against TCU, Prairie View A&M and UAB.
Truscott began the week with a career-high 26 points and 11 rebounds in Houston's 82-71 victory over TCU. He also tallied 15 points and grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds in the Cougars' 99-85 win at Prairie View A&M last Thursday night and ended the week with 11 points and a game-high nine rebounds in Houston's 80-71 victory at UAB last Saturday night.
The 6-7 junior is in his first season at UH after playing two years at the University of Nebraska.
Truscott and his Cougar teammates will return home to the friendly confines of Hofheinz Pavilion this week when the Cougars play host to Southern Mississippi on Wednesday, January 23, at 7:30 p.m.
Houston will also play another home game against Memphis on Saturday, January 26, at 7:30 p.m. before traveling to San Diego State on January 29.
