Sammie Lorch joined the University of Houston Athletics Fan Engagement & Marketing Department as a graduate assistant in June of 2024. In this role, she handles marketing and promotional strategies for Softball and Women’s Swim and Dive. In addition to her primary sport responsibilities, Lorch serves as a secondary contact for Volleyball. Â

As an undergraduate, Lorch served as a Marketing and Fan Engagement intern for Houston. As a marketing intern, Lorch assisted with gameday promotions for all sports and served as lead intern for the 2023 Softball season and the 2023-2024 Men’s Basketball Season. Â

A native of Cypress, Texas, Lorch graduated from the University of Houston in December 2023 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. Â
