The team's 2.32 blocks per set marked the program's highest mark since 2011 (2.37). She also aided in the team's serving game, which tallied 157 service aces throughout the season.

The Cowgirls reached the Southland Conference Championship, placing 2nd,after a 9-5 record in league play, the program's first appearance in the championship match in 20 years.

Prior to McNeese, Loiars spent 10 months as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator as LaSalle University. However, in September 2020, the department announced the dissolution of the volleyball program.

Prior to LaSalle, Loiars spent two years at Duquesne University as an assistant coach. Loiars preceded her time with Dukes with two years at Villanova University where she began her coaching career as an assistant coach and video coordinator in July 2016.

Prior to her coaching career, Loiars played for four seasons at the University of Dayton as an outside hitter. She finished with the second most kills on the Flyers in both her junior and senior seasons, compiling a total of 917 in her career, averaging 2.53 per set. In total, she played in 363 sets across 105 matches, tallying a hitting percentage of .233 with 190 digs and 242 blocks. She was a 2015 selection to the Atlantic 10 All-Tournament team and a two-time A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll honoree, while also a member of the leadership council in her junior and senior seasons.

Loiars, a native of Winter Springs, Fla., graduated from The University of Dayton with a bachelor's degree in communication with a specialization in media production and a minor in psychology.
