Laith Akhras joined Houston Soccer staff as a video analyst in July of 2022. As video analyst for Houston Soccer, Akrhas’s primary responsibilities include recording training sessions, match analysis and creating analytical reports for the team.
Akrhas joins the team after serving as head student manager for University of Houston Men’s Basketball from 2021–2022. His involvement with the team dates back to 2019 with various roles. During his time with the team, Houston won two regular season championships, two conference tournament championships and made three NCAA tournament appearances, including a run to the Final Four and Elite Eight.
Akrhas is currently pursuing a U.S. Soccer D Coaching License.
Originally from Englewood, New Jersey, Akrhas is expected to graduate in December 2022 with a bachelor of science in sports administration.
