FRESHMAN (2020-21): Made 11 appearances and two starts in her rookie campaign... Notched first college assist on February 10 in Cougars' 8-0 rout of Texas Southern... Played the fourth-most minutes out of her rookie class
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Alaniz joins Houston from McAllen High School in McAllen, Texas... Alaniz helped lead the Bulldogs to 50 straight district wins, three consecutive District Championships, two Sweet 16's, a Regional Championship and a State Final Four appearance, the first by a team from the valley... An All-State First-Team selection, Alaniz was also tabbed with District MVP honors and tallied the most goals by a midfielder during her senior campaign
PERSONAL: Majoring in English and law.. Played against teammate Maddie Bowers in high school...Hobbies: Shopping, listening to music and going on walks... Dream career outside of soccer is becoming an attorney... Started guitar lessons at the age of 10 and has been playing ever since.
