Competed for both the placekicking and kickoff chores during the spring... should battle Ben Bell for both again in the fall 2006: Connected on a 20-yard field goal during the season opener at Rice... blasted three kickoffs against the Owls with half of those ending in touchbacks... missed all but two games with a groin injury, including the last nine contests.. 2005: Became only the sixth player in school history to record a 50-yard field goal after accomplishing that feat at Conference USA rival UCF... competed in 11 games, including each of the last five... connected on five field goals on the year... booted a 43-yard field goal late in the season opener against Oregon for his first career points... equaled his career long with another 43-yard effort early in the fourth quarter against Sam Houston State... drilled a 42-yard field goal at Tulsa... nailed a 44-yard field versus Kansas in the Fort Worth Bowl.
