Freshman quarterback named to Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Watch List
HOUSTON – Freshman Houston Football quarterback Keisean Henderson was named to the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award Watch List on Wednesday.
The No. 1 prospect in the nation by 247Sports was one of 18 true freshmen to grace the preseason watch list and one of four true freshmen quarterbacks on the list. In total, 37 freshmen were named to the watch list.
As a senior, Henderson threw for 3,821 yards with 45 passing touchdowns on a 73.7% completion percentage. He also rushed for 591 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground.
