Paige Smith joined University of Houston Football in March 2022 as its Recruiting Assistant before being promoted to On-Campus Recruiting Coordinator in March 2023.
In her current role, she work closely with the Director of Football Operations/Player Development on Student-Athlete rooming/boarding as well as coordinates with Houston's Director of Player Personnel on transcripts and daily recruiting agendas.
Organizational duties include arranging all Official Visit hotel needs as well as Unofficial Visit itineraries for staff and coaches. Smith also organizes two Coog Cookouts for prospects and oversees Recruiting Operations Interns. She assists with planning and executing Game Days, Official Visits and Junior Days in addition to the designing, production, and mailing of all recruitment materials.
Smith came to Houston after a stop at SMU where she served as a Recruiting Assistant from August-November 2021. Prior to SMU, she spent time in a pair of capacities at Texas Tech after earning her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in December 2019.
She spent 16 months as Recruiting Host with the Red Raiders (Sept. 2018-Dec. 2019) with duties including hosting football prospects and communicating with football coaching staff, recruits and parents. Smith also spent time as a Student Assistant with Texas Tech Athletics Compliance (Sept. 2018-Dec. 2019) where she prepared and assisted educational efforts relating to NCAA rules, Title IX and institutional policy, and monitored student-athlete, prospective athletes, coaching staff, and booster activity.
